Restorative Yoga Soundbaths

About us

Brittany Wilkerson (RYT 500) feels a great sense of joy in sharing yoga with people from all walks of life and bringing an essence of ease and effortlessness to our overstimulated culture. Her hope is that through your yoga practice, you can locate your truest expression, healing, and joy, and find your way "home". Her background includes 7 years of teaching in Los Angeles at studios, high schools, and recovery centers prior to her time in Atlanta. She received certification at the 500 hour level through Annie Carpenter's Smartflow mentorship and her 200 hour certification through Liberation Yoga in Los Angeles, CA. Brittany is also a certified Birth Doula through Bini Birth and Postpartum Doula through Los Angeles Doula.

Elizabeth Barfield blends together practices from various fields of study. She completed her level one teacher training in Kundalini yoga and meditation in 2009 in New York, NY. A trained pianist and vocalist, she had an instant connection with the practice of chanting meditation. Impressed with the practice’s ability to release anxiety and promote mental clarity, she started looking deeper into the nature of sound as a therapeutic modality. Elizabeth uses therapeutic sound instruments and voice during her yoga classes and offers sound baths to the community. She is currently working with children with multiple disabilities and is studying occupational therapy to further bring sound and holistic modalities to diverse populations in the Atlanta area.
She offers a unique therapeutic soundscape, an environment to rest and reconnect in harmonic resonance. Sound is used as a tool for restoring our own “perfect pitch” — our innate personal vibration — opening us up to self-inquiry through introspection. A combination of crystal and Himalayan bowls, tuning forks, crystal pyramids, chimes and voice will harmonize and attune with the body on the cellular level, supporting self-repair.
